they are great pets but it depends on how the family treated the rabbit it is still young enough to learn but you don’t want an aggressive rabbit that will bite. if the bunny is friendly. u will want to make sure u have plenty of toys and treats for the bunny, also make sure u rabbit proof your house as even the tamest bunnies will decide to chew a wire. the more space and toys you offer the bunny the happier it will be make sure as well you have enough time to spend with it as they are a highly social animal. good luck.
