Can Teddy Bear Hamsters and a Lion-Head Rabbit go together?
I was wondering since we bought a new rabbit that if we put the female Teddy Bear Hamster with the female Rabbit would there be any problems? Would the rabbit bite or attack the hamster? Does it depend on the pet? Any answers or links to websites that would explain thoroughly would be great
Thanks!
No, most likely the rabbit will hurt the hamster, or the hamster would try and bight the rabbit.

hamsters are ment to be alone and not paried with any thing at all or the will kill it or it will be killed
as for a rabbit they should be pared with another rabbit of the opaset sex and be goting at a young age and be fixed before left alone because a rabbit can make babes at 3 months of age or you can get a ginepig but they need to be feed separately because they have different nutritional needs but can be keep to gether in most cases

im not trying to be rude but why would you ask such a stupid question it does sound rude but people do it all the time. people should know not to put different species of animals together the larger one will obviously kill the smaller one they cannot live together under any circumstances. yes it does happen but very rarely and why risk the chance of loosing your pet because you want them to live together. if they need totally different food (this case rabbit and hamster food) don’t put them together they need very different living requirements and different food. what if your hamster or rabbit ate the opposite food he may get sick from that food because its not for him. if you cannot afford to cages then you shouldn’t have bought the second animal assuming they could live together. putting them together will just result in the hamster dieing. sorry if that seemed rude but hope i anwserd your question

This is really very simple. Hamsters are always territorial, they always live alone. And alone means really by themselves, not with any other animals. Any basic site that talks about hamsters will say this.
If you do not want either animal to be hurt, and if you want both animals to be happy, keep them separate. It really is not a very complicated thing to understand, if a person knows even a little bit about hamsters.
