Hi, I was just wondering if a Holland lop and a lion head rabbit can have babies together? My rabbit is 2 years old she is a min dutch Holland lop and the other bunny is a lion head who is almost 3 years old. Can this work or no just wondering? thanks.
Technically, they CAN but I wouldn’t breed them.

I have two male lion head rabbits will the breed with my female rabbit she is a multi color rabbit i am not sure what kind she is but she is not a lion head she is bigger then both of them. She thumped when we first put her in the cage now she is ok beginning around them.
Ok now I have another ? for you will the 2 males fight over her and why does she thump for.
If she’s not spayed, and the males aren’t neutered, of course they’ll breed. They don’t care if they’re not the same breed or don’t look the same- instincts are instincts. The offspring will then be mixes, like a lot of the rabbits that end up in pet stores or in shelters. Get her spayed, or you’ll end up with a lot more rabbits than you can deal with.
ETA: Yes, rabbits are very territorial and two males are likely to fight (whether or not a female is present). Thumping is a warning sign that the female wants to be left alone. She’s telling the males to stay away. If they don’t listen to her warnings, there may be a fight.
