No not any more so that any other type of rabbit. I have actually found that my lionheads might be more friendly then my mini rexs. They are great pets and seem to be very interested in other animals/bunnies.
I am thinking about getting a lionhead but someone told me that they are prone to epilepsy. Can anyone tell me if this is true? Thanks
Honestly the only rabbits that have been proven to have a higher incidence of epilepsy are blue eyed white rabbits of any breed. Any rabbit can have epilepsy but it is uncommon. Personally I would make sure to get it from a responsible breeder. They will know what their lines carry and what genetic defects tend to pop up.
my lion head rabbit named max also look for “lion head rabbit” and “lion head rabbit part 2″
